Docents are needed to
give tours of the historic homes and businesses during special events at
Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park. Docents are trained volunteers who interpret the amazing history of the historic town of Allensworth
for park visitors; families, school groups, scout troops, bus tours, etc... The
next training class is Saturday, Sept 15, 2012. In addition to meeting new
friends you will learn about the town's history to include an in-depth look at
the families that lived in each of the restored homes and businesses. This is
your chance to make a difference at Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park. A chance
to preserve this great history. A chance
to help tell the Allensworth Story.
