After three years of filming and editing the two part series
California Forever: The Story of
California States Parks premiered on PBS last night. The documentary will continue to air on PBS
stations throughout the month of September. (See the chart to find out when it airs in
your area.)
In episode two: Parks for the Future, Colonel Allensworth
State Historic Park is one of six state parks featured as examples of the
challenges our state parks face. The Backcountry
Pictures film crew spent two days at the park filming the Allensworth section.
