At their March 20, 2007 meeting the Tulare County Board of Supervisors approved the special-use permit which gives Sam Etchegaray permission to build two dairies near the town of Allensworth and Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park. The March 20th meeting was the tenth - six by the Tulare County Planning Commission and four by the supervisors - public hearings held on the dairies.
Etchegaray must get the approval of the San Joaquin Valley Pollution Control district and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board before the dairies can be build.
You can read the board of supervisors' resolution at the Tulare County web site.
