Today, August 17th, California State Parks Director Ruth Coleman announced the latest round of public meetings to gather input on the department’s Central Valley Vision. This vision is a long-range program to help guide the future development and acquisition program in California’s Central Valley. There are seven (7) meeting scheduled for the month of September.
Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park is one of the 32 units that the California State Parks manages in the Central Valley. This an opportunity to let the California State Parks know about the improvements needed at Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park.
The times and locations of the upcoming meetings and a list of comments from the spring meetings is available from the California State Parks department.
