State Sues

Stop the cows! That's the message from Attorney General Jerry Brown as he files suit to stop the development of a 12,000 cow mega dairy near Colonel Allensworth State Historic Park, a park of special importance to the African American community. This follows a 100+ rally near the State Capitol on Wednesday and a 9-3 party line vote in the Assembly Water, Parks, and Wildlife Committee to stop the dairy plan. Meanwhile, the Oakland Tribune weighs in with this self-explanatory editorial: Protect Allensworth.
